Our vision is rooted in addressing the shortcomings of the current youth sports landscape, where a play-heavy
model often prioritizes tournaments over skill development, and where the true investment in a
young athlete’s future is often overlooked. Our founder and CEO, Blake Trahan, a seasoned
professional in the world of baseball, understands the importance of comprehensive
development and skill refinement. Camps and Clinics emphasizing quality practice, skill work,
and strategic training will be consistently held at The U facility. The U will put on a diverse range
of camps and clinics that will involve the obvious hitting camps, fielding camps, and pitching
camps, but also sprinting/running form camps, running back camps, lineman camps, weight
lifting camps and much more. At The U, we believe that every athlete deserves the opportunity
to reach their full potential whether their goal is to make their high school team or make a career
in a professional sport. The U Team is working hard to create multiple elite processes to develop
and teach inside of a camp and clinic dynamic where time is limited! Our camps are fast paced,
efficient, and developed to leave the camper with an immense amount of knowledge and

Swing Development Clinic
A Mechanical approach to making hitting easier
The U’s Swing Development Clinic will be a clinic that would assume a multi-hour approach to developing
better swing mechanics. Each camper will go through a detailed but simplified process on how
to create an elite swing pattern. Much of the hitting world is bombarded by tons of information
that can create a cloudy swing journey for all hitters. There has never been a more important
time to find information that is “right” and works for you. There has never been a more important
time to simplify your belief with conviction, so the access to unlimited information doesn’t keep
you from taking strides to being an elite hitter. A confused hitter is a bad hitter. The U coaches
have put together a swing process that they believe can help any player at any age make
mechanical adjustments that can get them on track to being a great hitter. Hitting has always
been one of the toughest things to do in sports, but creating an elite swing pattern, fixing the
kinetic sequence, and getting rid of inefficient moves will help to make hitting much easier.

APAA Hitting Clinic (Approach, Plan, Adjust, and Attack)
A clinic that covers and focuses on the mental approach to becoming a great hitter
This APAA Hitting Clinic will cover all mental aspects of being a great hitter. Let us take you through our process of how and when to make
mental adjustments so that we can become a consistent competitor in the box. Consistent
hitters avoid the long slumps. Here you will learn mental tips and tricks to staying on track and
getting hot again!
- Who are you as a hitter? (What are your strengths and weaknesses?)
- What plan should I create and when should I create it?
- How to attack and execute the plan with confidence?
- How to make adjustments and when to make the adjustment?
- How do the greats think? They say you can’t teach confidence, but we believe you can. Be extraordinary in your mental game as a hitter. Own the box, the plate, and the fastball.
Elite Infield Actions Clinic
A clinic that covers a simplified process that includes 5 detailed, elite infield actions.
What fundamentals do the greats have? 5 details that most infielders are never taught
that can catapult their infield consistency to the next level. Learn the ins and outs of how
to make the routine play EVERYTIME. Come learn custom made drills that help develop

“Between the Ears” Infield Clinic
A clinic that covers and focuses on the mental approach to becoming a great hitter
As most things in baseball, the start to success lies heavily
in the mental game and learning the game within the game. In this clinic you will begin to
understand the details that enable the Gold Glovers to stay consistent and how to be an
EVERYDAY GUY that your coach refuses to take out the line-up. Attend this clinic to learn how
to set yourself apart by creating a mental edge as an infielder. Learn the proper Alignments,
how to read hitters’ swings, how to move with the pitch, where to play and why, making the hard
plays easier, how to make the web gyms, how to get the crowd on their feet. Do not just be
another guy, be a GAME CHANGER.
Complete Control Lifting
A clinic that covers the basics of lifting weights concentrated on form and proper technique
“This clinic is required for anyone wanting to lift at ‘The U. Lifting
weights is not just about seeing how much you can put on the bar. At The U, we promote good
form and technique over heavy weights. The U trainers want to make sure that you and your
team can do all common lifts properly and move correctly within the weight room. Being able to
connect your brain to the specific muscle/muscle group and conscious movements
(Mind-Muscle Connection) will yield greater growth, less injuries, and more efficient results.
Benefits of being able to correctly perform different exercises with the correct biomechanics are:

through possible meal plans depending on your body type, age, and goals.
