At The U, membership begins with a New Client Intro Lesson. This first session allows new athletes to meet our coaches, experience our training environment, and understand how our programs work, both remote and in person.
Following the Intro Lesson, your coach will provide a professional recommendation based on your goals, experience level, and development needs. From there, athletes may be guided toward a private lesson package or cleared to move forward with a membership.
This process ensures every athlete starts in the right place and receives a training path that truly supports their development.

THE FIRST STEP: YOUR INTRO LESSON
(Required Before Purchasing Any Private Lesson Package and Membership)
Before beginning any training or membership at The U, every new athlete must complete an Intro Lesson. This one-time session is designed to introduce you to our coaching staff, training environment, and overall development approach.
Rather than jumping straight into a long-term commitment, the Intro Lesson gives athletes the opportunity to experience how we work, ask questions, and understand how our remote and in-person programs are structured.
After the session, your coach will provide a professional recommendation, whether that’s continuing with a private lesson package or moving forward with a membership, based on your goals, experience level, and readiness.
